Final Design and tender documents of Will Pows Dam consisting of (i) 13.5 M High x 265 M long compacted earthfill embankment (Fill=90,300m3, Water depth 10M, Reservoir Surface Area 12 Ha, Live Storage 443,910m3, Dead Storage 22,400m3 (ii) Draw off 200mm dia. Upvc, Scour/Compensation System-200 mm GI (iii) Natural Drainage Catchment Basin 32 Km2. (iv) Spillway Works, 52 M wide open earth channel, Inflow Design Flood, 150m3/s, 1 in 100 Year Return Flood), (v) 52m concrete ogee weir at control section.River Flood Off-take Weir: Source-Ephemeral Lagga–tributary of Ngare Ndare River: 11.5M x 2.8 M High Concrete diversion weir.Flood Water Conveyance Canal (Irrigation)-2 Km Open unlined earthen trapezoidal section, maximum discharge capacity Qm=2.60m3/s, dm=1.0m. 450 mm dia. PCC road crossing culverts.
