A Joint Venture between Shengli Engineering and Consulting Company Limited of China and Runji & Partners Consulting Engineers & Planners Limited. The project involved the design and supervision of the installation of a 355mm diameter pipeline from Nairobi to Eldoret, over a distance of 326 km. The objective of the project was to enhance the pumping capacity from 220m3/hr to 757m3/h. Booster and mainline pumps were installed as well as pigging facilities. The pipeline was constructed parallel to the existing 8 inches diameter pipeline.
